CVFWI community health promoters Daniela and Jasmin conducting health screenings in the Migrant Farm Communities. Services include preventative screenings for high blood pressure and diabetes, as well as vision tests. This outreach to the camps gives the men the opportunity to learn about accessing affordable health care.

We are proud to announce that CVFWI was awarded a 1:1 matching grant from Perry Foundation, with the help of donors, to continue repairs to the historic Odd Fellows Hall in Massies Mill.

There is a high risk of heat illness for farm workers. The lack of protections pose a direct threat to Virginia workers and the Commonwealth’s economy. CVFWI is advocating for HB 1092 and SB288.
